- APE (Monkey's Audio)

- Library
The library is where the metadata of all audio files are saved. The library database can be found in the user application data folder (MPfm.Database.db).
- Library Browser
The Library Browser is the tree view located at the left of the main window. In this control, you can select the view shown in the Song Browser. The Library Browser has the following views:

Artist name
Album title
Artist name + Album title
- Loop
A loop has a start position and an end position. They can be used to loop through portions of an audio file for practice. A loop can be made from two markers.

- Marker
A marker points to a specific position in an audio file.
- Metadata
Metadata is a collection of information on an audio file (for example, the artist name, album title, etc.). It can be found in different tag formats (APE, ID3, etc.).
- MP3
MP3 is an audio file format using lossy compression. This audio format is proprietary and a license must be paid when using this commercially. This format is using the MP3 file extension. For more information about this format, click here.
